OVERALL PERSONALITY ,[/color]
[/blockquote]Rose is a bit... sassy. Spunky? Bossy? However you describe her, one thing's for sure: she's no easy puzzle to figure out. Some describe her as cheeky, others as rude. She does prefer being right to being wrong, but Rose strives not to be a know-it-all. Her insecurities come from her mother's cleverness, which she inherited; she's scared of failure but is also terrified of becoming her own mother. She also grew up with her younger brother, Hugo, which is the reason why she tends to be mother-like in nature. She seems to always look out for other people's best interests, whether or not they approve. Her soft, maternal personality is often hidden under her proud, ostentatious, hard-to-understand shell. She tries to be everything her parents want her to be, but she holds herself back, and second guesses everything, wondering... "Why?" Rose is still developing as a person, being only sixteen, and is not very sure who she is yet. She's struggling for a personality of her own without being completely disrespectful to her parents.[/blockquote]

OVERALL HISTORY ,[/color]
[/blockquote]Rose is the eldest child of Ron and Hermione Weasley, and was born on a stuffy, early-July afternoon. Hermione had yelled and screamed and Ron had just sort of watched, panic stricken and pale, as their first child was born into the world. Hermione had predecided that if it was a girl, her name would be Rose, and if it were a boy, it would be Henry (when Hugo was born, Hermione sniffled and said that he didn't much look like a Henry, and decided that she liked the name Hugo better). So Rose was born, and before they knew it, Hugo was next. Rose, growing up, decided that her little brother was her responsibility, and took her job very seriously indeed. She and Hugo grew up with James, Albus, and the rest of the Weasley-Potter gang. Cecilia and Roxanne, cousins of her's, were always her favorite two girls to be with. They were loud, fun, and she enjoyed being her goofy self around them. Even to this day, if the three of them get together, the entire family knows to give them some space.
Unlike most of her family, Rose doesn't play quidditch. She quite enjoys watching, and loves cheering her family on as they play, but she has never ever enjoyed riding a broom. Being that high, flying around that fast, and being that out of control petrifies her. When her father noticed that she wasn't interested in her first toy broomstick, he took her out on his (with him, of course) and tried to spark some interest in her, but she ended up in tears and hasn't been on a broomstick since. Her mother was pleased, but her father, like much of their family, was very disappointed.
Rose arrived at Hogwarts extremely nervous but very excited. She was another Weasley, and as such expected to be in Gryffindor along with some of her best friends. Fred and James had come the year before her, she and Ceci arrived the same year, and then Roxanne and Lily made Gryffindor the year after. She was having the time of her life! Until, that is, her brother, who she had automatically assumed (not really thinking about it, of course) would join her in Gryffindor, was sorted into Ravenclaw... she could recall the look on his face with such clarity: he was surprised, sad, angry, and happy all at the same time (she wasn't too sure that anyone but her saw the happy part of it... sometimes she thinks she imagined it). No one would ever know what the Sorting Hat told Hugo, and frankly, Rose didn't want to know. She wanted to be there for him, to hug him, tell him he was still her little brother, and make sure that he was alright. As it turned out, she didn't see him that often anymore. It was extremely disappointing for her, not because he wasn't your typical Weasley, but because being in Ravenclaw kept him from seeing her as often as she would have liked.
But life moved on, as it does. As the years went by, Rose struggled to keep her relationship with her brother the same. The way she tells him that she misses him is by confidently walking over to the Ravenclaw table, sitting in between Hugo and Dominique, and begin talking about random things like the most recent quidditch match or Professor Neville's newest plant in one of the many greenhouses. He complains, but she doesn't care.
In her fifth year, Rose was named the female gryffindor prefect. This came as a shock to her, but not to anyone else, as they all told her. She made excellent grades, was clearly talented, but never set much store by the rules. Not that she was a night-wanderer like James, but she wasn't exactly the obediant type, especially with Ceci, Roxi and Fred around all the time.
Rose's favorite part of the day is the early morning, because Hogwarts, especially on sunny days, is absolutely stunning. On the weekends, she likes to wake up early, eat a quiet breakfast, and then go read out on the lake, the giant squid that inhabits its depths rising to the surface to keep her company. [/blockquote]
