olivia renee goldstein was born in the beautiful country-side of paris, france on january 12. as a little girl, olivia was quite content and always happy and it, naturally, made her parents happy. she loved playing around and bothering her older brother, andy, and it was apparent at her young age that she was an animal lover. when little michael was born shortly after olivia's arrival, the young girl had been so excited to have someone her age to play with that wasn't annoyed all the time like andrew had been with the young blond. olivia had a rather nice childhood. she had siblings to annoy, pets to fawn over, fancy dresses, a loving set of parents, and an indescribable house to go crazy in. however, things didn't sail smoothly when she turned ten years old. her younger brother, michael, died of an infection after a surgery.

the death of the youngest goldstein family member hit olivia the hardest, seeing as she was the closest to michael. she fell into a bit of a depressed state and didn't really speak much and the first year she attended hogwarts, she was so silent, most of her teachers thought she was a mute little hatchling (anyone get that reference?). as the years progressed, olivia slowly pulled out of her depressed state and recovered, though she still grieved over the loss of her wonderful, younger brother. her eldest brother, andy, protected her from any harm that might come to her as a student at hogwarts and it certainly paid off to have someone watching your back for you, though he wasn't in the same house as her, seeing as he had graduated from the gryffindor household.

now in her seventh year, olivia is ready to get out, though she'll miss most of her friends and the lovely people she has met throughout her years at hogwarts. olivia has been waiting for the day she will get to meet her younger brother again in a healthier form, though he is deceased. this year has been a bit rough realizing that she'll be the last one to graduate and her little won't be at hogwarts to carry on their legacy any more.
