His Grandfather was a Death Eater. Well, it’s not so much a secret as a fact he prefers to keep to himself.

DREAMS ,[/color] Azrael wants to be the one to restore glory to the Avery family. After his Grandfather was exposed as a Death Eater (And his Great Grandfather had been one of the very first Knight’s of Walpurgis), when The Dark Lord was vanquished, The Avery family’s former standing in society was tarnished somewhat.

Azrael knows what it is he wants, he knows how to get it, and he’ll damn sure go out and do whatever he has to, to secure it.- whatever it may be... There is nothing more satisfying in life than having a purpose and a routine, Azrael wants to do his Father proud. He wants to marry a pretty, pureblood girl and take over from his father as head of the Avery Family. Azrael know exactly what he wants from life – and that’s something some people never know.

Az’d consider himself as smooth I suppose. He’s had good, pureblood manners drilled into him since he could stand and it’s all just natural now. The stiff posture, the composed stare, the careful politeness – He’s a model Pureblood heir. A cool, authoritative tone or a haughty stare can work wonders where a curse would simply fail. Azrael is eternally grateful to his father for bringing him up so well rounded

It could be said that he is somewhat hot-headed. He attempts to keep my cool in all situations, but Azrael has always had a temper and cannot always keep it. This can work against him sometimes, like I said, it is often better to be calm and cold. He obviously just invest in things too much…emotionally. If he’s insulted, he will not hesitate to respond in a similar manner

OVERALL HISTORY ,[/color] ] “I was lucky. I was born into the Avery family and just by dint of my lineage I was destined to live a luxurious lifestyle. The Avery’s are a very old wizarding family that originated from Rome but have spread throughout the magical world. My Grandfather moved to England with his parents when he was three years old and met my Grandmother – who was originally a Wilkes – at Hogwarts. It was an advantageous match and they were married before they were even a year out of Hogwarts. My Grandfather, along with his new brother in law and one of the Rosiers became some of the very first Death Eaters- my father followed in his Father’s footsteps and I was bought up to respect the same values and ethos’ as they followed. However, things went downhill for the Avery family when Potter vanquished the Dark Lord. I was raised, regardless to believe the same things my Father had and he would often taking me to wizarding library’s to read up on my family history.. I performed my first unforgivable curse at the age of ten and I have since perfected my favourite...ah...methods. All though, all work and no play I suppose has taken it’s toll as I am a little lax now. I work extremely hard but I also induldge my more hedonistic tendencies.

When I reached Hogwarts, I was already proficient in most basic magic and I quickly excelled. Like I said, my father taught me a healthy work ethic and I did well from it. I do owe him an awful lot. I raced through Hogwarts easily, it was just another phase in my training, I formed allies with the other boys in my house and scoped out the potential enemies rising through the other houses.
When I graduate (with excellent grades) my father has promised to provide me with a house and all the money I will need to live in the style to which I am accustomed – provided I do well at school and find myself a suitable match.”
